…As the owner of Field & Lake Films I believe the most beautiful moments are the ones you don’t have to plan. I started filming weddings because I saw a need for films that fit each couples unique personality. The quiet smile before walking down the aisle. The squeeze of a hand when nerves set in. The laughter that bursts out when no one is expecting it.

My job isn’t to stage or script your day. It’s to notice those fleeting details you may not even realize are happening, and preserve them so you can relive them for years to come. You and your people are the creators of the magic. I simply get the pleasure of documenting it.

Based here in New England, I love working with couples who want their wedding to feel real, not like a performance. I keep things relaxed and low-key, so most of the time you’ll barely notice I’m there. No big lights, no awkward poses, just me quietly weaving your story together through film.
